Hunter’s Killington™ Shines with Distinction
MEMPHIS, TENN. (January 18, 2007)—Killington, a storied destination
in the heart of Vermont’s Green Mountains, is known for its magnificent natural
beauty, quaint New England towns, famous ski lodges and antique stores. Hunter Fan
Company has captured the charm and splendor of the region with its namesake homage,
the Killington™ ceiling fan from the Prestige® Collection.
The Killington is available in a leather brown finish with Vieux gold accents (model
21588) and a cocoa finish with Spanish gold accents (model 21581). Both models feature
five reversible furniture grade veneer distressed cherry/distressed walnut blades
with 56-inch blade span. The Killington is powered by Hunter’s patented high
performance AirMax motor. Engineered by Hunter for energy efficiency and durable
operation, Prestige fans provide relaxing breezes in the summer and circulate warm
air down from the ceiling in the winter for maximum comfort.
“The Killington is all about refined style,” said Beau Parker, Hunter
Fan Co. vice president of ceiling fan marketing. “From rich finish combinations
to its decorative medallions, this fan will bring distinction to any living room.”
The Prestige Collection is an assortment of Hunter’s finest ceiling fans,
which include 60- and 72-inch fans for larger homes, all-aluminum fans that will
never rust for outdoor living areas, and a wide variety of Old World, transitional
and contemporary styles. Prestige fans feature a broad palette of architectural
details, from rich furniture-grade woods and hand-applied finishes to artfully crafted
glass. Combined with the power and quiet performance for which Hunter products are
known, the ceiling fans of this distinctive collection represent Hunter’s
very best.
For easy installation and perfect balance, the Killington showcases the WobbleFree
Canopy mounting system. It features a hands-free loop that temporarily supports
the fan during wiring, allowing greater mounting ease. The WobbleFree Canopy’s
self-aligning trilobular ball maintains full, even contact with the housing by eliminating
stress points that often contribute to wobble. The Killington can be installed in
standard, flush or angled mounting fashions, with or without a light kit that features
an amber scavo glass bowl.
